R.E.

The teaching of R.E. and provision of Collective Worship are central to all our school stands for.  As part of our responsibiility to widen pupils' knowledge and understanding of the world's 6 major faiths, we visit places of worship and invite speakers who are representive of other faiths to talk to staff and pupils about their lives and beliefs. We have had a theatre/dance group from Zimbabwe who have worked with the whole school, teaching about Zimbabwean culture and the role of children. We aim to address issues such as self respect, respect for others, tolerance, fairness, trust, and honesty through exciting activities which encourage participation in a safe environment.
